Anita Jane Fowler obituary Anita Jane Fowler, 53 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away August 23, 2010 in Bartlesville. She was born April 17, 1957 in Beloit, Kansas to Edwin and Irene (Hammerschmidt) Pfannenstiel. Anita was a nurses aid working at the nursing home for several years. She has lived in Hominy for the last 2 years. She is survived by three children, Amanda Conner and her husband Danny of Bartlesville, Sheila Corley of Hominy and Scotty Fowler and wife Tonya. Eleven grandchildren Brian, Amy and Nicki Conner, Brandy, Katie, and Skye Corley, Scotty Jr., Cheyenne and Lizzy Fowler, Reba and Jimmy (Hill) Ford. Five sisters, Rose Ann Beltch, and Judith Schomer both of Lawrence, Kansas, Diane Pfannenstiel of Dallas, Texas, Shiela Houston of LeRoy, Kansas, and Brenda Fisher of Hominy, Oklahoma. Three brothers, Kenneth Pfannenstiel of Northglenn, Colorado, Robert Pfannenstiel of Hays, Kansas and Freddie Pfannenstiel of Denver, Colorado. Numerous nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Dawn. Funeral mass was held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hominy, officiated by Father Bruce Brosnahan. Burial was at the A.J. Powell Cemetery. Casket bearers were Dewayne Graham, Danny Conner, Steve Kruezburg, Wayne Houston, Brent Houston and Justin Conner. Powell Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
