Bill Adams

Leonard W. “Bill” Adams was born on July 20, 1927 near Lela, Oklahoma to Leonard H. Adams and Rena O. Bodenhamer Adams. He passed from this life on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at his home in rural Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 86 years, 2 months and 1 day. He attended Pawnee Public Schools and then a short stint in the United States Army. He has served as Deacon of the First Christian Church; was a retired Director for Indian Electric Cooperative; served on the Black Bear Water Shed Board; and supported the local FFA Programs. Bill has worked most of his life farming and ranching west of Pawnee. Bill is survived by: Sister:Joyce Keeton and her husband, Jerry, Maramec, Oklahoma Daughters:Rhonda Dietz and her husband, David, Pawnee, Oklahoma Cindy Beagle, Pawnee, Oklahoma Billie McCabe and her husband, Dev, Tulsa, Oklahoma Son:Robert Adams and his wife, Debbie, Pawnee, Oklahoma Grandchildren:Jill Rademeyer and her husband, Rick, Jenks, Oklahoma Amanda Dietz, Tulsa, Oklahoma Jason Beagle, Pawnee, Oklahoma Quint McCabe, Tulsa, Oklahoma Collin McCabe, Tulsa, Oklahoma Kaileen Skidgel and her husband, Brian, Pawnee, Oklahoma Ashley Snider and her husband Matt, Albuquerque, New Mexico Jordan Adams and Scott Crabtree, Pawnee, Oklahoma J. W. Adams and his wife, Shelby, Pawnee, Oklahoma Jenna Adams, Stillwater, Oklahoma Great Grandchildren:Ethan and Luke Rademeyer, Jenks, Oklahoma Amber Beagle, Pawnee, Oklahoma Blake and Brooklyn Skidgel, Pawnee, Oklahoma Zandra and Alice Snider, Albuquerque, New Mexico Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Rena Adams, and his brother and sister-in-law, Hollis “Bunk” Adams and Wilma Jean Adams, and a grandson. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. John Coker officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Care Hospice, 4125 S Mingo, Tulsa, OK 74146, or any charity of your choice.
