Bob Wilson Obituary Bob Wilson, 75, of Hominy, passed away July 18, 2008 at his residence in Hominy. Bob was born December 27, 1932 to Elbert Charles and Janie (Owens) Wilson in Hominy. He married Marie Lack June 23, 1956 in Hominy. He was a lifetime Hominy resident and graduated from Hominy Public Schools. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marines. Bob had worked in the oilfield business over 40 years as a Production Supervisor and retired from CEJA Corp. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Bob was a sports enthusiast involved with the Hominy Sports Program and Buck Booster Club. Bob is survived by his wife Marie of home; two daughters- Kim and husband Buddy Gillum of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Kelly and husband Doug Cowan of Hominy, Oklahoma. Two sons- Kyle and wife Dena Wilson of Columbus, Georgia and Sean Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Nick and wife Kristie Gillum, Lyndsay Gillum, Britni Cowan and fianc Kirby James and Brandon Cowan; two great grandchildren Lleyton Gillum and Kaden James. One brother Charles Wilson of Hominy. His parents preceded him in death. Services were Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church, Hominy, Oklahoma with Pastor Lee Nirschl officiating. Congregational singing will be Blessed Assurance , Near to the Heart of God and Sweet, Sweet Spirit , accompanied by Theresa Cowan organist. Casket bearers were Gerald Christy, Tex Bayouth, John Pettit, David Butler, Jerry Ballard, Jerry Quillin and honorary casket bearers were J.D. Savage, Jess Ballard, Tom Points and Bill McCabe. Burial was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
