Bobby "Bob" Patterson Obituary Bobby "Bob" Patterson, age 63, lifelong Hominy and Prue resident, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his home in Prue, Oklahoma. He was born on August 2, 1951 to Jeff and Betty (Cypert) Patterson in Hominy, Oklahoma. Bob graduated from Prue High School in 1969 and married Dianna Fast on September 26, 1969. Bob served one tour of duty in Vietnam as a Specialist 4th Grade, US Military Police. After his service was complete, he moved back to Prue where he and Dianna raised their family. Bob worked as a fitter/welder for the next 42 years. Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dianna of the home; his mother, Betty LeForce of Yale, OK; 2 daughters: Kerri Currie and her husband Billy of Sand Springs, OK and Christina Holcomb and her husband Larry, also of Sand Springs; a son, Matt Patterson of Prue, OK; 8 Grandchildren: Ashley Holcomb, Tara Currie, Jake Patterson, Garett Holcomb, Samantha Patterson, Jasper Patterson, Jolie Currie and Sonny Patterson; 3 sisters: Nancy Howard of Cleveland, OK, Betty Lou Mace of Mannford, OK and Mary Ann Winterbottom of Drumright, OK; 2 brothers: Doyle Patterson of Tennessee and Billy Cypert of Yale, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Sherry Langston. Funeral services were held graveside at New Prue Cemetery in Prue, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, with the Reverend Garry McDevitt officiating. Pallbearers were Billy Currie, Larry Holcomb, Jake Patterson, Garett Holcomb, Kenneth May, Kenny May, Mario Bryan, and E.J. Rapien, with Jasper Patterson and Delmer Cole as Honorary Pallbearers. Music was "Go Rest High on that Mountain" by Vince Gill and "A Simple Man" by Lynard Skynard. Services were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma.
