On September 23, 2013, Bruce Lee Hoeltzel, 52 completed his life. He was born on June 17, 1961 to Irwin Hoeltzel and Ruby Holz Hoeltzel and grew up west of Maramec. He attended first grade at Maramec Elementary, then transferred to Pawnee Schools, where he graduated with the Class of 1979. He went to welding school his Junior and Senior year at Indian Meridian Vo-tech, which started his career at Davco Fab in Jennings, Oklahoma. He worked at Davco Fab from 1980 until June 2012. He married Tina Annette Wamsley on August 1, 1980 at Pawnee First Baptist Church. Together they raised two children on the family farm. He joined the Maramec Fire Department in 1980 and became Fire Chief, where he helped the community achieve one of the highest ISO rating in the area. He was an avid rabbit, coon, turkey, and deer hunter and fished for every species of fish found in Central Oklahoma. His family and friends favorite quote from him was “You’re not stuck as long as you can still move”. Bruce is survived by: Wife:Tina Hoeltzel, Maramec, Oklahoma Son:Branden Hoeltzel and his wife, Krista, Maramec, Oklahoma Daughter:Kristina Ramsay and her husband, John, Maramec, Oklahoma Brother:Byron Hoeltzel and his wife, Cindy, Morrison, Oklahoma Sister:Brenda Rolland and her husband, Jerry, Pawnee, Oklahoma 4 Grandchildren:Austin, Logan, August, and Brycin, Maramec, Oklahoma Nephew:Tyler Rolland, Pawnee, Oklahoma Nieces:Amy Rolland and Milo, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Melissa Rolland and Timothy, Tulsa, Oklahoma Plus a number of other relatives and many friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Ruby Hoeltzel; three sisters, Beth, Roberta, and Beverly Hoeltzel; and two nieces, Tasha and Tracie Hoeltzel. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Maramec First Baptist Church, Maramec, Oklahoma with Rev. Justin White officiating. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Maramec, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Judith Karman Hospice, P. O. Box 818, Stillwater, Oklahoma, 74076.
