Carol Ann Davis, 67, passed from this life on June 22, 2023, at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Carol Ann was born October 20, 1955, to Jack H and Lyndell Monroe in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carol grew up on her dad’s ranch just outside of Hominy, Oklahoma. Carol loved to be outside with the horses and other animals. She loved going to the ponds on the ranch to fish. Carol graduated in 1973 from Hominy High School. Then it was off to Texas to attend Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene to study Forestry.

Carol returned to Hominy where she met a young man on a CB Radio. Two weeks later she married Logan Davis. They celebrated forty-six years as husband-and-wife last October. To this marriage four children were born: three boys and one girl. Carol’s goals in life were to care for her family and raise all four kids along with her husband.

Carol enjoyed sewing for her family. She always had a big garden and loved to spend time in the dirt. Carol was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking those wonderful holiday meals. Fishing was her greatest enjoyment after her children. Carol was very artistic; she could draw and play the piano. Carol was a believer in Jesus Christ.

Carol lived for her family. She loved her grandkids. Carol will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by her husband Logan Davis of the home, her children Jack Davis, Carrol (Russell) Hunt, Jim (Courtney) Davis; and five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Lyndell Monroe, her brother Mike Monroe and her son Joe Davis.
