Carron Alvadean Richardson Carron Alvadean Richardson, 74 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at her residence in Hominy. Carron was born on May 10, 1941 to Charles P. and Nadine (Gearhart) Bailey in Datto, Clay County, Arkansas, though she was raised in California. Carron married Ernest Richardson on March 20, 1968. They came to Hominy in 1993, where they made their home, and were members of the Hominy Church of the Nazarene. Carron was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Blackwell-Frazier American Legion Post #142 in Hominy. She also volunteered at the Senior Citizen's Center and donated items for packages sent to our servicemen abroad thru Blue Star Mothers of America. Carron was a loving mother and grandmother and made wonderful desserts, especially Chocolate Half-Moon Pies. Carron is survived by 4 daughters: Sharon Thompson of California, Linda Engemann of Hominy, OK, Patricia Barba of Sand Springs, OK and Janet Kohanes of Bivins, TX; 12 grandchildren: David Campa, Michael Campa, Christopher Campa, Bonnie Vanecek, Christy Engemann, Joshua Barba, Michael Saunders, John Saunders, Seairra Richardson, Brooke Saunders, Geri Shavers and Jason Richardson; Numerous great-grandchildren; 5 siblings: Rita Martin, Carolyn McGee, Pati Hosseini, Roberta Campos and April Gragg and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carron is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; 2 sons: James & John Richardson and her great-granddaughter, Lylli Saunders. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene in Hominy, Oklahoma with the Pastor Carl Brown officiating. Pallbearers were Mike D. Saunders, Michael Saunders, Kelly Kohanes, Jon Barba, James Gregg, Dakota Dean and Jason Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers were Colton Dean, David Campa, Michael Campa, Christopher Campa and Joshua Barba. Musical selections were "Amazing Grace", "Go Rest High on that Mountain", Sissy's Song" by Alan Jackson, and "I Won't Say I'm Okay" by Front Porch Step. Burial followed at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma. Arrangements were by Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma. powellfuneralservice.com
