Charles Lee Watson born August 29, 1940. Went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2015. He met his wife Addie Sue Watson in Amarillo, TX. They got married on May 25, 1965 in Amarillo, TX. He was proceeded in death by his father Royal Winfield Watson his mother Christine Pearl Watson, and his brother Gene Watson. Him and his wife had seven children. Barbara Meeker, of Stillwater OK. Douglas Watson of Pawnee OK, Christine Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles R. Watson of Pawnee, OK, Craig Watson of California, Cynthia Ferrara of Kansas City, MO, and Carla K. Watson of Pawnee, OK. He has twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Charles Lee Watson served six years in the army in the 101st paratroopers. He worked for National Beef Packing Company and National Carriers and TransAm Trucking. During this time he worked for Johnny Jacobson Sr. and Johnny Jacobson Jr. He loved camping, boating, fishing and of course trucking, and spending time with all his family. Charles still has brothers Johnny Watson and Bennie Watson and four sisters Thelma Rodgers, Velma Watson, Orbie Watson and Estelle Grimes. One of his mottos for life was. Mind of matter, if you don't mind, it don't matter, and if you mind, it matters. Services are Saturday 2:00 P.M. March 21, 2015 at the Pawnee First United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Ross officiating. Services under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.
