He was born August 30, 1939 in Centralia, Washington to Merle Lloyd and Betty Jane (Clowes) Whitcomb. He married Dedra Shipley. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army. He was self-employed, but had become disabled. He is survived by his wife Dedra of the home; 2 daughters: Heather Woodruff and Brandy Whitcomb; 2 sons: Bran Whitcomb and Kenneth L.A. Woodruff. Private family services were planned. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma. Note of interest: Mr. Whitcomb was Evelyn Pitts of Hominy, son-in-law.
