Charlie Dvorak

Charlie Dvorak was born on May 27, 1926 in Perry, Oklahoma to Frank J. Dvorak and Bozena Bessie Kosnar Dvorak. He passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He married Juanita Marilyn Baker on November 20, 1949, and they moved to Glencoe from Stillwater in 1971. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stillwater. He served in the United States Army, taught Science Classes, and enjoyed farming and gardening with his dogs. Charlie is survived by: Wife:Juanita Dvorak, Pawnee, Oklahoma Children:Kendal & his wife, Ginny, Pawnee Jud & his wife, Barbara, Stillwater Seven Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren, and One Great-Great Grandchild Mike & Kendra Castleberry and their daughters, Kylie and Keilee, Perry Timmy & Melissa Dvorak and their daughters, Jaylee and Finlee, Pawnee Adam & Amber Grant and their son, Cagle, Perkins Cory & Lindsay Barrett and their daughters, Kynzie and Ava, Pawnee Jared Dvorak, Kennesaw, Georgia Nick Dvorak & Gayla, Stillwater Nelson Dvorak, Stillwater Cameron & Jade Pitts and their son, Jase, Morrison Brother: Frank Dvorak, Perry Sister: Irene Heppler, Ponca City Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, infant daughter, Bozena, and great-granddaughter, Addyson Barrett. Services will be held at 2:00 p. m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Irvin Haken officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Perry, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
