Clara Bell (Noel) Clark was born on July 10th, 1926, in Hominy, Oklahoma to Ark and Grace Noel. She lived in Hominy, Oklahoma her entire life and most of that time on Pettit Street. She married the love of her life Charles Leonard (Precious & Sweet) Clark on August 24, 1946. Charles and Clara Bell made their home in Hominy, Oklahoma and had two daughters, Linda A. Collier and Sandra J Brown.
Charles and Clara Bell had their own business, Clarks Shamrock Gas Station and had a wonderful business there. They gave a case of pop to customers who paid their charge accounts. Clara Bell and Charles worked side by side there until they were acquired Arco Oil and Gas Wholesale. Clara and Charles had a successful business and they decided to retire and live the Farm life where they raised cattle, chicken’s, dogs and grandchildren. They had a wonderful life and shared that life with all their family and friends. All the grandchildren and family remember all the four-wheeler and three-wheeler rides, the picnics, the Fishing at the Lake and Ponds, and all of the delicious food made by Clara Bell’s own hand. Her famous Chocolate Cakes, Carrot Cakes, Cherry Chip Cakes, Chocolate Pies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Homemade Noodles and Gigi Rolls! What a wonderful life they had and shared with many family and friends.
Clara Bell started coming to the Nazarene Church when she was just six years old, someone came to their home and knocked at the door and asked them to come to Church. That day started a new life for Clara Bell and her entire family. They always walked to church and were very faithful in attendance. Clara Bell has been a part of the Hominy Church of the Nazarene all the rest of her life. God has been her number one all of her life! Her Husband and her children were her life. Clara Bell and Charles were a wonderful team teaching Childrens Church and Childrens Sunday School together for many years. She always had a close relationship with her many siblings and Charles side of the family. They had more parties and trips to the Hominy Lake and Bar B Que’s where everyone gathered together on both sides.
Clara Bell had a Wonderful and Long Life and was Blessed by God her many 97 years!
Clara Bell is survived by her daughters Linda Collier, Sandra Brown (husband Carl), Grand Children Larett Collier, Natasha Venable, Alicia (husband Cesar) Escoto, Christina (husband Danny) Ferguson, Bryant (wife Charity) Brown. Great Grandchildren Vernon, Chanlyer, Carson, Cydnee, Bella, Trinity, Timberly, Kobe, Sadie, Abigail, Connor, Landon, Christian, Giovana, Adalynn, Braxton, Stella, Alayna, Kara, Garrett. Great-Great Grandchildren Ariana, Braelynn, Jayvier, Kingston and Blaire. And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful Friends.
Clara Bell was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles (Precious & Sweet), her parents; Ark and Grace Noel, Brothers; Charles Noel, Floyd Noel, Granddaughter; Tiffany Schenck, Great Grandsons; Abram Brown and Landon Schenk
Visitation for Clara Bell will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel from 1pm till 7pm. Funeral services will be Friday, December 1, 2023, in the sanctuary of the Hominy Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Carl Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery following the church services. Those wishing to honor Clara Bell’s memory may do so by contributing to her church – Hominy Church of the Nazarene in her memory. Powell Funeral Home was entrusted with her care and services.
