Copsey Emmitt Higgins Copsey Emmitt Higgins, 89 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Cleveland Manor Nursing Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Copsey was born in Blackburn, Oklahoma to Copsey Emmitt Higgins, Sr. and Marie (Hopper) Higgins on March 29, 1926. He attended school at Blackburn, Oklahoma. He worked as a farmer on the family's farm. Copsey is survived by 2 nieces; Rose L. Malone of Stillwater, OK and Cheryl L. Davis of Bellivista, AR. Copsey is preceded in death by: his parents; 3 brothers; Fred Higgins, J.C. Higgins, and William Higgins, and 3 sisters; Flora Cole, Juanita Bighorse and Freda Wilson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 9, 2015 at Blackburn Cemetery in Blackburn, Oklahoma. powellfuneralservice.com
