Daniel Eugene Hopper

Daniel “Danny” Eugene Hopper, 63, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on April 8, 2019 at 8:41AM in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Hensley Home, 917 South Wood, Hominy, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held at the Hensley Home. Interment will follow at A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma.

Mr. Hopper was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on August 6, 1953 to John Sr. and Delphine (Harragarra) Hopper. Danny attended Haskell Indian Junior College and OSU Okmulgee Tech, receiving his Associates Degree in Drafting and Printing.

Daniel Hopper loved OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboys, and The Hominy Bucks. He was known to his friends as “Hogan”. Danny’s greatest enjoyment in life was caring for his granddaughter Raelynn “Baby Girl”.

Daniel is survived by: son, Kyle Hopper; daughter, Melissa Carr; granddaughters, Raelynn Delphine Hopper and Channing Carr; sister, Jan Gaebler and husband Carl; aunts, Marilyn Dailey and Delores Harragarra.

Daniel is preceded in death by: parents, John Hopper Sr. and Delphine (Harragarra) Hopper; sisters, Martha Sue Elliot and Mary Hopper Hayes; brother, John Hopper Jr.
