Dolorus Ione Nethercot Obituary Dolorus Ione Nethercot, age 90, passed away April 8, 2011 at the Cleveland Manor, in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Dolorus was born February 28, 1921 in Burlington, Kansas to Leonard Albert and Bertie Pearl (Thomas) Yates. She graduated from Burlington High School. Dolorus married Walter Francis Nethercot and he preceded her in death February 12, 1982. She was a homemaker and was an Avon Representative for over 40 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wichita for over 30 years. Dolorus loved to garden and work in her flowers; she also loved her cats. Dolorus moved from Wichita, Kansas to Cleveland, Oklahoma in 2006. Dolorus is survived by four sons- Dick Nethercot and wife Jacquie of Wichita, Bob Nethercot from Wichita, David Nethercot and wife Pat from Beaumont, Texas, Roger Nethercot and wife Karen from Wichita; two daughters- Sharon James and husband Ron from Cleveland, Oklahoma, Elaura Wenzel and husband Carl of Wichita; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, sister Laverna Trader, brother Leonard Albert Yates, Jr. and three grandsons. Graveside service will be Friday, April 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Glendale Coffee County Cemetery in Burlington, Kansas with Jerry Stumpff officiating. Taped music will be How Great Thou Art , In the Garden and Amazing Grace . Casket bearers will be Kelly Sullard, Jesse Sullard, Aaron Sullard, Brodie Powders, Larry Yates and Ray Nash. Arrangements made with the Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
