Doug Keeling

Douglas Darrell Keeling was born on May 24, 1965 in Ponca City Oklahoma to Hugh Darrell Keeling and Ethel Mae Hutchison Keeling. He passed from this life on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his home in Skedee Oklahoma having reached the age of 47 years, 8 months, and 23 days. He graduated from Ralston High School in 1983, and held several different jobs before starting work at Quapaw Rock Quarry in 1992, where he presently worked. He married Tammy Lynn Nuttle on August 22, 1990 in the Fairfax Assembly of God Church, and they moved to Skedee from Ralston in August of 1997. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Spending time at the lake and vacationing were among his favorites. Some of his hobbies included boating, riding four-wheelers, and working out in his shop. You could spot him on any given day driving a red Ford truck, he loved the color red on a pickup truck, as long as it was a Ford. He always gave the family a hard time if they came in driving something other than a Ford. If anyone ever needed a specific tool or just a question in general, they knew Doug was the go-to guy. When not working or doing honey-do’s, he enjoyed playing with his grandbabies or just snuggling with them in his recliner, they were his pride and joy. Doug always had a helping hand to lend to those he loved, he will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
