Dr. B. G. Henderson was born on August 13, 1931 in Bedford Indiana to Claude B. Henderson and Leona Easton Henderson. He passed from this life on Monday, June 17, 2013 at his home in Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 4 days. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery in Kirksville, Missouri, and held licenses in Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, and Oklahoma, and served in the United States Army Medical Corp from 1954 until 1956, during the Korean Conflict. He married Sharon Henderson on June 11, 1971 in Ithaca, Michigan, and they moved to Pawnee in 1981 where he established his practice. He was affiliated with the Masons and Shriners, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association; American Quarter Horse Association; and Michigan Sheriff Posse. He enjoyed fishing, flying, quarter horse racing, raising dogs, and collecting vintage cars. Dr. Henderson is survived by: Wife:Sharon Henderson, Pawnee, Oklahoma Children:Terri Ball & her husband, Steve, St. Louis Michigan Tammy Schaub & her husband, Brad, Alma Michigan Sherry Culbertson & her fiancé, Brent Fedak, Pawnee Oklahoma Tully Henderson, Stillwater Oklahoma Grandchildren:Matt Sayre, Kena Culbertson, Mitzi Forbeck, Billie Josephus, Billie Josephus, Meggin Fall, Kara Schaub, Brent Cagala, and Mal Heilig 5 Great Grandchildren Sister:Betty Farrell, Bedford Indiana Sister-in-law:Sheila Wetzel & her husband, David, Ithaca Michigan Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Dr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents, C. B Henderson and Leona Henderson.
