Donna “Dusty” Duncan was born on February 1, 1954 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Cecil Ray Eshelman Sr. and June Ellen Wright Eshelman. She passed from this life on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Dallas Texas having reached the age of 59 years, and 16 days. She attended Pawnee High School, and worked at Pawnee Municipal Hospital for fifteen years. She later worked as a dispatcher for Fairfax Police Department. She married Johnny Duncan on September 18, 1972 in Masham Oklahoma and he preceded her in death February 2, 2007. She lived most of her life in the Pawnee/Skedee area, and moved to Balch Springs Texas in 2009. She loved to find and collect arrowheads, loved to learn about Native American culture, and loved her grandbabies. Donna is survived by: 3 Sons:Abe Duncan & Denise Bledsaw, Yale, Oklahoma Andy Duncan & his wife, Kristy, Sand Springs, Oklahoma Austin Duncan & his wife, Karri, Pawnee, Oklahoma 4 Granddaughters:Kylie, Jaclynn, Kimber and Andrea Grandson:Blake Brothers:Cecil Eshelman Jr, Pawnee, Oklahoma Larry Bird, Peru, Illinois Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Besides her husband, Johnny, she was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Gordon Bird. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Eshelman Memorial Chapel, Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Lance Howell officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
