Edgar Waller

Edgar “Eddie” Wayne Waller was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on December 27, 1944. His parents were Ray Waller and Alene Waller. Eddie grew up in Pawhuska and Hominy Oklahoma. He went to school at the Indian Camp School in Pawhuska, Oklahoma then transferred to Pawhuska Schools to finish. After school Eddie spent two years in active duty in the United States Army where he was stationed in South Korea.

After returning home Eddie met and fell in love with Shirley Ann Pope, they were married in Hominy, Oklahoma at the Methodist Church on April 19, 1969. The happy couple welcomed their only child, Crystal, eleven months later. They were married for forty-nine wonderful years.

Eddie started to work in the oil field after the Army. He started as a roughneck, then he was promoted to working on oil derricks. Eddied finally became the driller. Besides the Army, working in the oil field made his days complete.

Eddie worked on the oil rigs, and it took him to many places, where his family would come visit him; Colorado and New Mexico were just a couple of places. Eddie loved old cars, playing pool and having gatherings with all his friends. He knew what it meant to have lots of fun. He loved WWE and WWF. Eddie enjoyed watching football, but especially OU football. When it came to music, Eddie listened to Old Rock and Roll or Old Country. He enjoyed going to the river and swimming. Eddie was the sweetest guy ever and he sure loved his little girl, Crystal.
