Elvina Goodfox Wilson

Elvina Goodfox Wilson was born on February 14, 1926 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Lawrence Goodfox Sr. and Flora Lewis Goodfox. She passed from this life on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 23 days. She married Tilden Wilson and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2006. She loved Nascar, and her favorite driver was #24, Jeff Gordon. She also loved animals, especially her dogs Angus, Molly and Brandy who will be placed at rest with her. Elvina is survived by: Daughter:Cherisse Murphree, Tulsa, Oklahoma Son:Randy Murphree, Tulsa, Oklahoma Grandson:Matthew Murphree who is stationed in Ft. Lewis Washington Daughter-in-law:Arlene Murphree, Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 Sisters:Wanda Kanuho, Pawnee, Oklahoma Florence Goodfox, Pawnee, Oklahoma Plus a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Besides her husband, Tilden Wilson, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Goodfox Sr. and Flora Lewis Goodfox; three sisters, Rena Rice, Betty Garcia, and Henrietta Pratt, and two brothers, Walter Henry Goodfox and Lawrence Goodfox Jr. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Pawnee Nation Roam Chief Event Center, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Bruce Pratt and Rev. Jordan Kanuho officiating. Interment will be at North Indian Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
