Emmalene Stallcup passed from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Emmalene Stallcup was born October 24, 1936, to Orbin McGuire and Irene (Dooling) McGuire in Ralston, Oklahoma. She grew up in this area and graduated from Ralston High School.

Emmalene was introduced to James Stallcup by her friend, Norma DeRoin in the sixties. They were married and had a great life. Emmalene worked at the Hominy Bank for over fifty years. Emmalene helped raise her two nephews Ron and Rick after their mother passed away. She also helped raise her granddaughter, Emily after her mother passed. She always made sure that Emily was well taken care of. She would give great birthday parties and family cookouts in her backyard.

She was well liked in town and helped people every chance she could. She was trustworthy, caring and loving to all who knew her. She loved her dog, Bandit who was a husky. She loved to crochet, watching old westerns movies and shows. She suffered a back injury in her early seventies which left her unable to walk. She spent the last ten plus years in the Fairfax nursing home. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Emmalene was survived by her Son/Nephew Ron Dummer; Granddaughter/great-niece Emily Beartrack; great niece Jessica Williams, great nephew Travis Taylor and great nephew Kent Henry Dummer. She was preceded in death by her husband James Stallcup; her parents Orbin and Irene McGuire; her sister LouAnn Hopper-McGuire; brothers Aaron and Jim McGuire; nephew Rick Dummer

Graveside Service will be 2:00pm, Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Pavilion in the A J Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma. Arrangements were made by Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
