Frederick (John John) Louis Boren was born October 10, 1974, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to John Boren Sr and Denise Diane Boren. He was raised in the Pawhuska area along with his brother John and sister Beverly. In his school years John John was involved in football, basketball, and marching band. He was very active in the Catholic Church. John John was involved in the native American student association, summer church camps and youth outreach programs. He graduated from Pawhuska High School. He then attended Tonkawa Junior College (NOC).
John John loved playing video games, movies and pro wrestling. If the Dallas Cowboys were playing you knew better than to talk to him. He loved Sunday evening dinner with his grandparents, fourth of July celebrations and going on road trips. He loved WWE pay-per-view events. John John was always up to table top role playing games. He really enjoyed the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He had a big heart and was a friend to everyone. He was a little shy and did not enjoy social interactions. He loved being with his siblings. John John loved his two dogs, Cindy Lou and Smokey; also his two ferrets.
Frederick Louis Boren passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Inola Nursing Home.
He is survived by his sister Beverly Boren and brother John (Kimberly Hayden) Boren Jr; sister-in-law Jennifer Neal; nieces and nephews Dylan Hayden, Shelby Hayden, Joannie Neal and William Neal; great nieces and nephews Rae Lynn Hayden, Kyah Colley and Maria Balke; special friends Karen Gosvener, Jessie Gosvener, Shelby Gosvener, Rick Gosvener and Ford Hunter Gosvener. He was preceded in death by Louis “Ferpo” Boren, Fred Hamilton, Charles Fletcher, Virginia Hamilton Fletcher, and Beatrice Boren; Parents John and Denise Boren
Funeral Services for Frederick Boren will be Friday, September 27, 2024; Traditional Osage Service 8:00 AM at Wakon Iron Chapel in Pawhuska followed by Christian Burial at 10:00 AM Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska. Burial will be at the Pawhuska Cemetery. Traditional Osage Meal after burial at the Wakon Iron Community Building. Arrangements made by Powell Funeral Service
