Glenda Dee (Poore) Oleson, 52, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Hominy, Oklahoma. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 29, 1966 to Harold and Deleta (Shakingbush) Poore.
Glenda married her high school sweetheart, James Oleson, being married for 35 years. Glenda, “NeNe”, loved her children and grand babies dearly. She was always so proud and would always brag about them. She loved being outdoors. Some of her favorite things were camping, fishing, swimming, and boating. Glenda also just loved to simply be with her family. She was a known prankster, making sure everyone always had a smile on their face and a full belly. Glenda enjoyed taking care of everyone.
Glenda is survived by: husband, James H. Oleson; daughters, Janell and husband Tim Bolt III of Hominy, Oklahoma; Brandy and husband Eddy Hall Jr. of Skiatook, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Averie Oleson, Jaxon James Oleson, Shane Hall, Lily Grace Bolt, Ella Bolt, Skye Bolt; her mother Dee Poore of Hominy, sisters, Brenda Dudley, Cheryl Thomas, Christy Squires, Fancy Squires, Michelle Lawson, Virginia Squires; brothers; Mike Oleson, Aaron Oleson, Mark Oleson; and mother in-law Laurie Oleson.
Glenda is preceded in death by: father, Harold Poore; mother-in-law, Bessie Squires; father-in-law, James Oleson; grandson, Luke Austin Hopper; brother, Wayne Squires.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 31, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Formby officiating. Musical selections for the service will be Spirit in the Sky, and Angels Among Us.
Memorial contributions may be made to James Oleson. Family has requested flowers be sent to the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma.
