Gordon Evelsizer

Gordon Howard Evelsizer was born on June 3, 1919 in Bagley, Iowa to William Evelziser and Lillie Schafer Evelsizer. He passed from this life on Friday, December 20, 2013 in Stillwater, Oklahoma having reached the age of 94 years, 6 months, and 17 days. He married Maxine Inbody on February 11, 1940 in Bagley, and they moved to Glencoe fron Adrian, Missouri in 1982. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Glencoe. Gordon is survived by his wife, Maxine; daughter, Andrea Underhill; son, Kirby Evelsizer and his wife, Deloris; seven grandchildren, Don, Ralph, Stormy, Lori, Amy, Scott, and Wendy; fifteen great grandchildren; a number of other relatives, and many friends. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Bernard. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Church of Christ, Glencoe, Oklahoma with Curt Anderson officiating. Interment will at Glencoe Cemetery, Glencoe, Oklahoma.
