Gregory Lamont Dumas Jr

Gregory Lamont Dumas, Jr (also known as “G”) was born October 23, 1982, and passed from this life on May 23, 2024. He was born to Gregory Lamont Dumas, Sr and Jovita Walker. Greg was the second child of six children. He attended and graduated from Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Greg was a jack of all trades, animal and music lover who enjoyed spending time with his family during outings and barbeques. He loved riding his bike, and mowing lawns for people. Greg would go out of his way to help people with any problems they were dealing with.

Greg Dumas Jr was at the wrong place and the wrong time. The Dumas and Walker families mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Greg, you will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Gregory Lamont Dumas, Jr is survived by his parents Gregory Lamont Dumas Sr and Jovita M Walker; three sisters Latoya (Robert) Gonzalez, Geneva Walker, and Shayla Walker; two brothers Yzelle Walker and Mandrell Walker; seven nieces and nephews Nova, Tyce, Cayman, Coopertino, Nathey, Tasyona, and Nataalyah; three uncles Jeri Dumas, Billy Walker and Harry Price; two aunts Roslyn Dumas and Tammy Walker; numerous cousins and friends. He preceded in death by grandparents Lois Walker, Charles Robinson, Wilma Dumas, and Doris Dumas; three uncles Edward Cruel III, Doyel Dumas, and Terry Dumas; one aunt Renee Cruel.

Gregory Dumas Jr funeral will be at 11:00AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Powell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Dusty Giles, followed by burial in the A J Powell Memorial Cemetery next to his grandmother Lois Walker. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements made by Powell Funeral Service in Hominy, Oklahoma.
