Gunther Lee Dailey
Gunther Lee Dailey, "Tsi-Sho Hun-Kah", 52 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at his home in Hominy.
Gunther was born August 12, 1963 to Louis Bradley, Sr. and Marilyn Katherine (Hopper) Dailey in Hominy. He graduated from Hominy High School in 1981 and went on to receive a degree in Computer Programming from the Bryan Institute. Gunther lived and worked in Houston, Texas for several years before returning home to Hominy.
Gunther began dancing at the Zon-Zo-Li In-Lon-Shka as a young man. He also served on the committee while his nephew was the drumkeeper. He enjoyed family gatherings, watching OU football games, going to Tulsa Driller's baseball games and going to drive-in movies. He loved to just go anywhere.
Gunther is survived by: his son, Amos Dailey; and 2 daughters, Rachel and Chelsea Dailey; his mother, Marilyn Dailey; his brother, Scott Lohah and his wife, Carolyn, all of Hominy, as well as several nieces, nephews and family members that love him.
Gunther is preceded in death by his father, Louis Dailey, Sr. and his brother, Louis "Brad" Dailey, II.
The funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Dailey home in Hominy, Oklahoma with Harry Roy Red Eagle officiating.
Pallbearers were: Amos Dailey, Louis Dailey, Jess Lohah, Brandon Wallace, Terence Piearcy, Kent Hensley, Brady Reed, Channing Tardiff, Joe Bunch, and Silas Satepauhoodle. Head cook was Alice Buffalohead. Burial followed the services at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy.
