Haiden Rain Tiger was born on February 23, 2001, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Roman Tiger and Victoria Gawhega. Haiden grew up in Claremore, Oklahoma and Arkansas City Kansas. He grew up with his three brothers and three sisters. Haiden played football in Claremore in 3-5 grade. He completed his education by getting his GED.

Haiden spent the last six years sharing life with his companion Bethany Rozell. She was the love of his life. He was working for Chronic Dispensary when he passed.

Haiden was a “Rock Star.” He was the drummer in his band, “Defiled.” He was able to travel with his band to play concerts all over the area. He was proud of his band and where it was going. He lived to play those drums. He never met a drum stick he couldn’t break. Aiden Howry, Dathan John, Zoey Howry, Jaret Massad, Caden Prater, Blu Simmons, and Alek Myers. These men are prior and present members of defiled, and parts of piece pipe the new band Haiden was working on. 

He loved to cook. Haiden loved to fish, that was one of his favorite hobbies. He was always ready to go catch some bass, or catfish, or try his hand at noodling. He was a bright star, when he walked into a room, he lit it up. He was very outgoing and loved being with people. He became friends with everyone. He was known to his grandmother as “Mister,” to his family as “Sugarbugz,” and his mother just called him, “Lovey.” He was a gentle and kind man.

Haiden was very active in his tribes, the Osage and the Quapaw. He loved the dances and going to the family camps. He loved caring for the people he loved.

On Saturday evening, March 30, 2024, Haiden’s life was taken from him when he had an accident in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.  

Haiden is survived by his mother Victoria Gawhega and her companion Jason Allen; his father Roman Tiger and stepmother Brynlee Tiger; his longtime companion Bethany Rozell; brothers Sky Gawhega, Keenan Goyer and Lincoln Tiger; sisters Devyn Zephier, Ahnawake Tiger and Emersyn Tiger; maternal grandmother Yvonne Pratt; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather John William Tiger; maternal grandfather Harry Childs; great grandparents Christine NoEar and Lawrence Murray; great grandfather William Tiger; Great grandmother Billie Webster; Great great grandmother Mary Thompson.

Viewing for Haiden Tiger is at Wakon Iron Chapel each day until the service. Funeral service for Haiden Tiger will be at 9:00 AM at Wakon Iron Chapel in Pawhuska, followed by burial in the Pawhuska Cemetery. With a traditional Osage lunch following burial at the Wakon Iron Community Building. Arrangements have been made by Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma.
