Harvey James Ball

Harvey James Ball Sr. was born on December 16, 1937 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Glen Ball and Alice Sterling Ball. He passed from this life on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at his home in Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 75 years, 5 months, and 22 Days. He attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1956. He planned on joining the military, but was too young, so he spent sixteen years with the 45th Division of the National Guard. He had many interesting jobs, police officer, migrant farmer, worked at a dairy farm and was a milkman. He had worked with his parents at the Chuck Wagon, and eventually owned his own restaurant of which he finally retired. He married Beulah K. Culbertson on April 13, 1973 in Perry, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on September 14, 1992. He enjoyed family activities, hunting, fishing, cards, dominoes, and lots of talking. Ball Jr., and his wife, Pat, Woodbridge, Virginia Stepdaughter:Dottie Kizziar & her husband, Larry, Ponca City, Oklahoma Grandchildren:Kacey Wuster & her husband, Jacob, Pineville, Missouri Levi Ball, Joplin, Missouri Tanner, Laramie & Maverick Ball, Cleveland, Oklahoma Mariah Walker & her husband, Tyler, Edmond, Oklahoma Megan & Emily Ball, Woodbridge, Virginia Douglas Kizziar, Wichita, Kansas Great Grandchildren:Jonah Wuster, Pineville, Missouri Ava Kizziar, Wichita, Kansas Sisters:Peggy Guthrie & her husband, Tooter, Bixby, Oklahoma Zetta Mae McNea, Cody, Wyoming Donna Sue Hardin & her husband, Doyce, Keifer, Oklahoma Bonnie Riemer & her husband, John, Collinsville, Oklahoma Brother:Tommie Ball, Pawnee, Oklahoma Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Besides his wife, Beulah, he was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Glen Ball, and his sister, Kathy Symmonds. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Masham Cemetery, Masham, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
