Hazel Francis Kingsbury

Hazel Francis Holt Collingsworth Kingsbury was born on July 20, 1930 in Lipscomb County, Texas to Cecil Holt and Goldia McCoy Holt. She passed from this life on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Cushing Regional Hospital, Cushing, Oklahoma having reached the age of 82 years and 4 months. She married Quentin Collingsworth in 1947 and he passed away in 1966. On October 6, 1967 she married Kenny Kingsbury. She moved from Texas to Cedar Vale, Kansas, then to Shidler, Oklahoma before moving to Pawnee in 2006. She was very friendly and nurturing and her home was always open to anyone. She enjoyed scrapbooking and her many memory books will always be greatly enjoyed by her family. She loved Bingo at the nursing home and visits from the staff, family and friends. She loved all of her grandchildren, and enjoyed taking part in their activities. Hazel is survived by: Husband:Kenny Kingsbury, Pawnee, Oklahoma Children:Steve Collingsworth & his wife, Debbie, Oxford, Kansas Susie Carriger, Pawnee, Oklahoma Kip Collingsworth & his wife, Tammy, Skiatook, Oklahoma Brian Kingsbury, Shidler, Oklahoma Kristin Mitchell & her husband, Aaron, Pawnee, Oklahoma 12 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren Brother:Dave Holt & his wife, Alaina, Arkansas City, Kansas Sister:Vickie Holverson & her husband, Richard, Manhattan, Kansas Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Besides her first husband, Quentin Collingsworth, she was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Goldia Holt, and one brother, Cecil “Bud” Holt. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cedar Vale, Kansas, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pawnee Ambulance Service, 510 Illinois Street, Pawnee, Oklahoma, 74058.
