Helena Wilde Casey

Helena Sue Casey was born on June 9, 1946 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Cleve Wilde and Priscilla Ruth Jim Wilde Canaday, and was raised by her grandparents St. Elmo Jim and Susie BearChief Jim. She passed from this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at her home in Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 67 years, 6 months, and 16 days. She was raised in Pawnee and attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1964. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and foster parent. Helena was survived by: Siblings:Carmen McKinney, Cushing, Oklahoma Frank Henry, Muskogee, Oklahoma Lucy Henry Norris, Stillwater, Oklahoma Children:Susan James, Yale, Oklahoma Kay James, Cushing, Oklahoma Frank James, Pawnee, Oklahoma Jon James, Pawnee, Oklahoma Grandchildren:Drina, Larry, Ronnie, Tim, Robert H., Robert A., Tasha, Breck, Deja, Dalton, Jason, and Justin. Great Foster-Grandchild: Adrian James Plus many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Helena was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents that raised her, and two brothers, James Leroy Jim, and St. Elmo Wilde. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Pawnee Nation Roam Chief Event Center, Pawnee, Oklahoma, with Rev. Jordan Kanuho officiating. Interment will be at South Indian Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
