Herman Roy Ware was born on December 13, 1938 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Viola Stolhand Ware and Earl Ware. He left this earth on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 75 years, 1 month and 24 days. He served in the United States Army, where he served two years in Germany, and received his Honorable Discharge on January 11, 1961. He married Judy Baker on May 15, 1965. He was a farmer and rancher, welding inspector, and also worked for the Ponca City Police Department and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the VFW, and the American Legion. Herman is survived by: Wife:Judy Ware, Pawnee, Oklahoma 2 Brothers:Jim Ware and his wife, Virginia, Pawnee, Oklahoma Bill Palmer and his wife, Pam, Ponca City, Oklahoma 2 Grandsons:Michael Ware, Cleveland, Oklahoma Mark Ware, Maramec, Oklahoma 4 Great Grandchildren Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Viola Ware; his son, Larry Ware; his half-brother, John Palmer; along with several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Pastor Russ Hughes officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2865 E. Skelly Drive, STE. 100-S, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74105-6200
