Obituary for Howard Cole Howard Cole, 68 passed away December 30, 2008 at the Barnsdall Nursing home. He was born March 29, 1940 in Barnsdall to Green and Martha (Poe) Cole. Howard is survived by 2 sisters Rosalie Forrest of Barnsdall and Shirley Woolman of Pawhuska. 4 brothers Harold Cole (Howards twin brother) of Pawhuska, J.D. Cole of Barnsdall, Jackie Cole of Pawhuska and Wayne Cole of Corpus Christi, Texas. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Howard was preceded in death by his father Green, his mother Martha Winsell, 3 brothers Leroy, Joe and John. 2 sisters Mary Joines, and Betty Owens. Graveside services were held Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Pastor Mike Franklin officiated the service. Musical selections were Amazing Grace and In the Garden . Casket bearers were Jason Towell, Sean Woolman, Lance Woolman, Josh Clemishire, Larry Wayne Purtle and B. Bills. The family entrusted Powell Funeral Home with the arrangements.
