Jack David Rapp Jack David Rapp, age 70, long -time resident of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at his home with his wife and two daughters by his side on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Jack was born on November 12, 1944 to Frank Rapp, Jr. and Sybil (Lay) Rapp in Stella, Missouri. He graduated from Hominy High School in 1962 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Jack also served in the 45th Infantry National Guard in Hominy. Jack was united in marriage to Stephanie Kenworthy on February 17, 1968. To this union were born two daughters, Jacquelyn and Angela. Jack worked in Hominy in the oilfield industry, first co-owning and operating Northeastern Oil Tools, and then later a Treating Chemical business, from which he retired. Jack had a passion for motorcycles, and was considered a skilled rider even at the age of 70. He completed his last journey to Colorado Springs on his bike this past June. He loved animals, especially dogs. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jack is survived by: his wife Stephanie, of the home; two daughters: Jacquelyn DeLong of Tulsa, OK and Angela Krebbs of Bartlesville, OK; and four grandchildren: Anne and Butch DeLong and Levi and Miranda Krebbs. He also leaves behind his loving and faithful dog, Jorge. Jack is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services were held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2015 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Jason DeLong and Joe Griffin officiating. The musical selection was "I Did It My Way" sung by Jason DeLong. Powell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
