Jacqueline Vance Mitchell

Jacqueline Kay Vance Mitchell was born on March 12, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Osage Dick Vance and Elsie Arlene Pense Vance Wilson. She passed from this life on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home in Maramec, Oklahoma having reached the age of 70 years, 4 months, and 12 days. She attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1962. She was baptized at the First Christian Church of Pawnee. She worked as a Real Estate Secretary for several years, and enjoyed arts and crafts, flower arranging, and cake decorating. She was very talented. Jacqueline is survived by her husband, John Mitchell, Maramec; children, Arlena Cox, New York, Tamara Benedict, Yukon, Deborah Bradley, Hominy, Michelle Hazuka, Tyler, Texas, Billy Hiltzman, Morrison, and Clinton Mack, Cleveland; her brother, Gary Vance Sr., and his wife, Gail, Pawnee; plus a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Dick Vance; stepmother, Mildred Vance ; mother, Elsie Vance Wilson; and stepfather, Rader Wilson. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2014 at Poteet Funeral Chapel, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Tom Scott officiating. Interment will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Maramec, Oklahoma.
