Jerry Shaw

Jerry Calvin Shaw was born on May 11, 1941 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Fredrick Calvin Shaw and Opal H. Dobbs Shaw. He passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 2 days. He grew up in Pawnee and graduated from Ponca City Military Academy. He served in the Army National Guard and was Honorably Discharged on July 4, 1969. He lived in Oklahoma City where he retired from Sears. Jerry loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and also loved his Best Friend, Jim Nimerick. They grew up together and Jim was with Jerry when he passed from this life. Jerry is survived by: Sister:Sue Boyce & her daughter, Stephanie Zahner, Skiatook Son:Tommy Graham & his wife, Geneva, Texas 5 Grandchildren:Tommy Ramirez & his wife, Mechell; Sara Ramirez, Christina Ramirez, Jannette Latif & her husband, Ormer, Ruben Ramirez Great Grandchildren:Adel, Shawn, Isabella, Isaiah, Mikeal, and Makayla Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of twenty years, Janette Sarah Shaw, and his parents, Fredrick and Opal Shaw. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Chan Ray officiating.
