Jimmie Russell Wood Obituary Jimmie Russell Wood, age 78, died May 27, 2009 at his residence in Asheville, North Carolina. He was born May 16, 1931 in Section 8, Aarondale, Oklahoma to John and Elsie Fay Wood. He was an Air Force Veteran and a 45-year brick mason. He is survived by his wife Patricia Sue Wood, currently residing in Asheville, N.C. Three sisters- Betty Riley, Ruth Thompson and husband Harvey and Norma Belveal. Three children- Renaye Owen, Greg Wood and wife Teresa and Gayla Wood; one grandchild Trina Abee and husband Brandon; and four great-grandchildren- Logan Kramer, Robbie Owen, Tristan Abee and Briauna Abee. Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 in the A.J. Powell Cemetery, Hominy, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were- Russell Cox, Ricky Thompson, Russell Thompson, Chuck Ballard, Bruce Fulton and Richard Goines. Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
