John Joseph Love
He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on October 20, 1934 to Benjamin Joseph and Gladys (Weber) Love. He attended New York City University, and received a degree in Photography. In 2008, he received a Certificate of Completion from the Charis Bible College of Colorado. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1951, and was honorably discharged in 1959.
John was married to Rose Alice DeWolfe on June 15, 1982; they were married for 34 years. He worked as an Oklahoma City Police Officer from 1960-1967. He was a Westinghouse Manager, and an ITT Manager with Harley Davidson Motorcycle Division. He was also a TG&Y Manager in Ardmore, OK, and a Cross Country Truck Driver. He worked as a School Stockroom Manager and School Bus Driver for Hominy Public Schools from August 2000 - May 2016, where he retired from. He was a Masonic President in 1987 in Lone Grove, OK, and was a 32 Degree Mason with Scottish Rite.
He is survived by: Wife, Rose Alice Love, Daughter, Pam Jorski and Husband David, Son, Jeff Owen and Wife Sherri, and Son, Curtis Owen and wife Angela.
John is preceded in death by: Father, Ben J. Love Jr., Mother, Gladys Gibbons, and Moe Gibbons, Step-Father.
A Memorial Service for John is currently pending, in Ardmore, OK.
