Kenneth Ray Stephens was born May 29, 1948 to Myree and Emil Stephens, in Pampa, Texas. He passed from this life on February 10, 2025 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76. Kenny graduated from Avant High School where he was raised along with his two brothers, Tommy and Danny, later the family moved to Perry, Oklahoma where they lived for many years. Kenny moved to Hominy, Oklahoma in the mid 1970's. He worked for the City of Hominy, for many years, and also worked for the Hominy Police Department as a police officer. He meet his wife Wilma around 1974 and between them they raised seven children. So of their shared life of fifty one years, challenges came, blessings came, and heartbreak came, but God was always there for them. Kenny enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking, and making jewelry. His love language was giving, he enjoyed giving those he loved some of the things he made, or just something special of his that he thought you might need. Kenny loved to cook, he looked forward to the Thanksgiving meal and helping Wilma in the kitchen. Of course he loved his dog Muffy, he spoiled her by warming her food in the microwave oven, and if the power was out he was always ready with his flashlight for the candlelight dinner as he called it!

Kenny was proceeded in death by his parents, Emil and Myree Stephens, one brother, Danny Stephens, also grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tommy Spencer, Adrian Spencer, Taylor Poteet, and McKinley McPhearson.

He is survived by his wife of the home Wilma Stephens, children: Kenny Stephens Jr., Stephanie Tibbs, James Dunn, Chris and husband Lee Prater, Cindy and husband Greg Daley, Connie Hughs, and Brian and wife Kathryn Dunn. Also a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Kenny was laid to rest April 10, 2025 at Powell Cemetery Hominy, Oklahoma.
