Larry Richard Owens (Booger Red) Obituary Larry Richard Owens (Booger Red) 61, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away March 28, 2008 at his home. He was born to Elmore and Eva Pearl (Newell) Owens on September 17, 1946 in Bakersfield, California. He married Heida L. Jerrell in Mesa, Arizona October 6, 1979. He attended school in Arizona. He had worked for the City of Hominy for 17 years as a sanitation truck driver. He liked to build bicycles and work on vehicles as a hobby. Larry is survived by his wife Heida of the home. One son Carl Owens of Hominy and five daughters Carla Ernst, Payson, Arizona; Tina Owens, Sedalia, Missouri; Jennifer Sain, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Heather Owens of Hominy and Roberta Yerkes, Payson, Arizona. Five grandchildren; Justin Carter, Malachi and Karah Edmonson, Alena and Max Yerkes. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carl Owens. Private family service is planned. Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma was in charge of the arrangements.
