Leon Charles Penn, Jr. Obituary Leon Charles Penn Jr. 58, life-long Hominy resident, passed away April 6, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charles was born September 5, 1951 in Hominy to Leon Charles Sr. and Ida Mae (Core) Penn. He graduated from Hominy High School and was a member of the Friends Church in Hominy, and worked as a pipeliner. Charles is survived by his daughter Melia and his sisters Carole Revard of Pawhuska, and Larraine Wilcox of Hominy. Three nieces, Jackie Wilcox of Hominy, Faren Anderson and her husband Glade, and Kim Revard both of Pawhuska. One nephew Cody Revard and his wife Carrie of Cincinnati, Ohio. Two great nephews, Kyle Pepper, Kristofer Revard, and one great niece Cheyenne Revard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marian Penn. Indian services for Charles were held Saturday, April 10,2010 at 8:00 a.m. at the Penn Family residence. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. at the Friends Church in Hominy. Pastor David Nagle officiated the service and taped selections for the service were Cowboy Rides Away , Live Like You Were Dying , and Amazing Grace . Casket bearers were Randy McAngus, Larry Maker, George Waller, John Maker, Cody Revard, Brent Maker, Sherman Riddle, and Roger Wheeler. Honorary Casket bearers were Leon Greyeyes, Ronnie Miller, Prentice Crawford, Lance Toineeta, and Jeffrey Kidder. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
