Linda Lou Harris Shrum was born on March 18, 1940 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Curtis Harris and Nada Gilmer Harris. She passed from this life on Friday, April 18, 2014 at her home in Glencoe, Oklahoma having reached the age of 74 years, and 1 month. She married Donald L. Tony Shrum on June 25, 1958, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, machinist and business owner, retiring in 1992. She was recently baptized into the First United Methodist Church of Glencoe. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Womens Auxillary.
Linda is survived by five children, Glory Honea and her husband Billie, Glencoe, Oklahoma; Tony Shrum and his wife April, Searcy, Arkansas; Glenn Shrum and his wife, Lynn, St. George, Utah; Patsy Monholland and her husband, Matthew, Midwest City, Oklahoma, and Guy Shrum, Midwest City, Oklahoma. 21 Grandchildren, Dustin Golder, Melanie Golder, Zachary Honea, Travis Honea, Hollie Honea, Ashley Durham, Terry Durham, Tony Shrum Jr., Matthew Shrum, Laura Beth Vickery, Logan Vickery, Karli, Krone, Jayse Barrington, Abby Hardy, Clint Hardy, Kenny Hall, Moriah Smith, Curtis Smith, Donald Shrum, Ayla Shrum, and Preston Shrum. 10 Great Grandchildren, Alisa Golder, Kayla Golder, Kamren Honea, Kasey Honea, Billie Wayne Honea, Damiem Farley, Megan Farley, Lynlee Vickery, Langley Vickery, and Penelope Hardy. Plus numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her husband, Tony, she was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Nada Harris, and an older sister, Patsy Harris Graves.
Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Oklahoma City in the Masonic Gardens at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014, where she will join her husband in their final resting place, with Pastor Ralph Wangler officiating.
