Linda Faye Vermillion was born August 7, 1950, in Burlington Kansas to Charley Vermillion and Bertie Baker Vermillion. Linda was number six in a sibling group of ten. She had six brothers and three sisters. Linda had her challenges, but her father worked diligently to make her self-sufficient. She grew up in the Hominy, Oklahoma area.
Linda enjoyed her family and spending time with them. Rather it was a holiday or a birthday she wanted to celebrate. She always got excited when her birthday was coming. She would let her family know it was coming and then she would be the life of the party on that special day. On holidays she would wear clothes that celebrated that particular holiday, a Christmas tree on her shirt or pumpkins on her leggings. She enjoyed celebrating.
She loved her art class at the library, she made some very nice things for her family. She enjoyed going on outings with the Countryside Care Center family. Linda was funny, happy and she loved to sing. She enjoyed traveling to see her siblings. She went to New York City with Mark and Nancy; she went to California to see the ocean with her brother Charles, once she saw it she said ok, we can go, I saw it.
