Louella Jane Hough, 91 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on April 23, 2019 at her residence.
Louella was born on January 30, 1928 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to parents William Owens and Sephronia (Hill) Owens.
Louella was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Wynona, and loved being involved with the church dinners.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and canning. Most importantly, she loved raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Louella is survived by: husband, W.R. “Bob” Hough; daughters, Ruth Hope, Nina Turner; sons, Robert Hough, Travis Hough, Alan Hough; sibling, Shirley Hughes.
Louella is preceded in death by: parents, Sephronia Ann (Hill) and William Garland Owens; siblings, Raymond Owens, Jim Owens, Hattie Holden, Lavada Austin, Betty Harmon, Minnie; children, Virginia Lynn Hough, Cris Clint Hough
Funeral services for Louella were held at 10:00am, on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma with Mark Formby officiating. Pallbearers were: Dustin Hough, Mike Hope, Brandon Hough, Kevin Hope. Honorary Pallbearers were: Jacob Hough, Steve Turner, Joshua Hicks, Austin Hope. Burial followed the services at the A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma.
Powell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
