Margie Jane Goodman Obituary Margie Jane Goodman, age 86 of Prue, Oklahoma, passed away October 8, 2009 at her home in Prue. Margie was born January 25, 1923 at Wildhorse, Oklahoma to Julius C. and Balzora (Kezer) Fast. Margie married Kenneth L. Goodman October 9, 1948 in Seminole, Oklahoma; they had been married 61 years. Her father had worked for Gulf Oil Company and they moved around living in Crescent, Oklahoma; Seminole and Boston Pool area attending school in Wildhorse and Hominy. She was a devoted homemaker, she loved to cook and bake; she did needlework, gardening and was very creative in writing poetry and was blessed with a beautiful voice, but her lifes work her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Cleveland. She is survived by her husband Kenneth of the home, a daughter- Deborah Wasaff of Prue, Oklahoma and a son- Timothy Goodman and wife Amy of Bristow, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren- Thad Shingleton and wife Kelly, Adam Shingleton and wife Lauren, Tyler Wasaff and wife Shannon, Breanne Wasaff, Jessica Robinson and Austin Goodman and eight great grandchildren. Two brothers- Jesse and Ted Fast and a host of nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers- J.O. Fast, Len Fast and one sister- Glennabell Tyner. Services for Margie were Monday, October 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cleveland Church of Christ with Rev. Bud Tibbles officiating. Congregational hymns were Beyond the Bright Blue , Precious Memories and Walking in Sunlight . Casket Bearers were Thad Shingleton, Adam Shingleton, Tyler Wasaff, Austin Goodman, Matt Patterson and Joe Kidder. Interment was in the A.J. Powell Cemetery under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
