Marilyn Howard Dickey

Marilyn Sue Howard Dickey was born on July 25, 1950 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Hubert Artis Howard and Emma Jean Oxford Howard. She passed from this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 62 years, 5 months and 8 days. She married Glenn Allison Dickey, Jr. on February 20, 1976 in Freeman Heights Baptist Church in Berryville, Arkansas. They moved to Tulsa in 1982 and were affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Blackburn. She enjoyed Christmas, collecting Santa Clauses, going to craft fairs, and especially loved being a Meme. Marilyn is survived by: Husband: Glenn Allison Dickey Jr., Tulsa, Oklahoma 3 Children:Dionna Cameron & her husband, Shane, Copan, Oklahoma Keeli Smith & her husband, J. Harmon, Birdeye, Arkansas Craig Dickey & his wife, Kathy, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Grandchildren:Erin, MacKenzie, Dalton, Corie, Katelyn, Chloe & Audrey Mother:Emma Jean Oxford Howard, Berryville, Arkansas Sister:Teresa Wood & her husband, Scott, Lowell, Arkansas Brother:Todd Howard & his wife, Cheryl, Berryville, Arkansas Plus numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Artis Howard, and her sister, Linda Elaine Howard. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Blackburn, Oklahoma, with Rev. Randy Alley officiating. Interment is scheduled to be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Berryville Memorial Cemetery, Berryville, Arkansas, pending state permit approval, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
