Marjorie A. Sims, 80 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, at the Pawhuska Nursing Home in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She was a long-time Hominy resident.

Marjorie was born in Hominy to Ralph and Georgia (Kamm) LaCrone. She grew up in Hominy and graduated in 1955 from Hominy High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hominy.

Marjorie is survived by: 3 children: Kimberly Sims of Hominy, OK, Monte Sims of Diana, TX, Michael Sims and his wife, Stephanie, of Diana, TX; 3 grandchildren: Christopher Sims, Morgan Anderson, Anne Tisdale; 2 great-grandchildren: Jaci Sims, Jamison Sims; 4 siblings: LeRoy LaCrone and his wife, Carmelita, Don LaCrone and his wife, Patty, Marlene McClain and her husband, Raymond, Carol Shadlow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marjorie is preceded by her parents and 4 siblings.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Hominy with the Pastor Lindee DeRoin officiating. Musical selections were: "In the Garden", "Amazing Grace", "Go Rest High on the Mountain". Inurnment followed the services at the A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy.
