Michael Eric Stuart

Michael Eric Stuart was born September 29, 1970 to Larry and Peggy (Roop) Stuart.

Graduating from Jenks High School in 1988, Michael attended Oklahoma State University, where he soon discovered his love for working in the entertainment field. Michael was a very talented musician which allowed him to become acquainted with others involved in the same industry. From belonging to several bands, to writing and directing commercials for Eskimo Joes and Mexico Joes, to sales in the radio industry, to producing concerts; he loved the entertainment life.

Even though Michael spent most of his life in Oklahoma he loved Colorado, especially the Crested Butte/Gunnison area and most importantly the “Family Cabin”, located in the Carson National Forrest.

Michael is survived by: son, Sage Stuart; daughter, Ashlee Stuart; fiancée, Ann Dallis; mother and step-father, Peggy and Jim Sheffield; step-mother, Janeen Stuart; sisters, Bridget and husband David Edwards, Kerrie Carter, Brooke and husband Mike Green; brother, Jared Stuart, nieces and nephews, Aileen and Bradley Edwards; Kelsey Carter; Kolton, Karli, Kade Reed; Emilee Green; step-grandmothers, Betty Stuart and Betty Dewitt. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by: father, Larry Stuart; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Mary Roop; paternal grandparents, Don and Dorothy Stuart; step grandfather, Joie Ray Dewitt; uncles, DJ Stuart and Roy Roop.
