Morris Grant Henager

Morris Grant Henager was born on November 24, 1937 in Finley Oklahoma to Roy Henager and Ruth Rowan Henager. He passed from this life on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Shawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 30 days. He attended school at Finley, Sulphur, Castle, Mounds, and graduated from Maramec High School in 1955. He was an Army Veteran and retired from National Tank as a welder. He later worked as a field service repairman, and traveled worldwide repairing refineries. He was an avid fisherman, loved eating Cajun food and loved to play music with other people and family. He especially liked the steel guitar and dobro. Morris is survived by: Wife:Barbara Henager, Stillwater, Oklahoma 2 Sons:Darrell Henager, Stillwater, Oklahoma Dean Henager, Maramec, Oklahoma Daughter:Tammy Henager, Stillwater, Oklahoma Brother:Clyde Henager & his wife, Betty, Cleveland, Oklahoma 2 Sisters:Fern Black & her husband, Harvey, Perry, Oklahoma Rosann Smith & her husband, Wayne, Cushing, Oklahoma Plus many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Morris was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sue; and brother, Duane. A Memorial Graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Maramec Oklahoma with Rev. Chan Ray officiating. Arrangements were handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
