Natalie Stark Henderson

Natalie J. Henderson was born on May 30, 1923 in Browning, Missouri to William A. Stark and Mary Francis Davis Stark. She passed from this life on Monday, October 21, 2013 in Pawnee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 90 years, 4 months, and 20 days. She played as a Bassoonist for Kryl Symphony Orchestra from 1941 until 1942. She attended Drake University College of Education, and Pestalozzi Froebel Teachers’ College, and received her Bachelor of Education Degree in 1961, and was employed by Mannheim School District No. 83 as a teacher and librarian for thirty years. She married Thomas J. Henderson and he preceded her in death. She moved from Illinois to Arizona in 1993 and later to Ralston, Oklahoma. Natalie is survived by her son, Gary Stark Henderson and his wife, Susan, two grandchildren, and sister, Sue Fairfax. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the First Christian Church, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Tom Scott officiating.
