Patricia Catherine Strothman

Patricia Catherine (French) Strothman Patricia Catherine (French) Strothman, age 60, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on December 29, 2011 in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Patricia was born October 2, 1951 to Reginald and Kathleen Ann (Lewis) Shorey in Cornwall, New York. Patricia graduated from school in Cornwall, New York. She had lived in Hominy for 32 years. Patricia and Charles W. Strothman were married on February 16, 1996 and she was a Health Care Provider until her health became bad. She had been a member of First Baptist Church, Hominy, Oklahoma and Grace Baptist Church in Cleveland. Patricia loved her dogs and loved being around her kids and grandchildren. Her hobbies were bird watching and loved listening to music, especially Kid Rock. Patricia is survived by her husband- Charles W. Strothman of the home; three children- Michael Shorey and wife Rhonda of Hominy, Oklahoma, Barbara (B.J.) Prater and partner Mike Burger of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Sam Shorey and wife Dolores of Blackwell, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren- Candace, Cassie, Bradley, Cheyenne, Chloe`, Kali, Melody Sullivan and husband Sean, and Rally; one Great Granddaughter- Emarie. Four sibling- John Shorey and wife Lana of Saginaw, Michigan, Kathy Keller and partner Dana of Greensville, Tennessee, Sandy Sellers, and Robert Shorey both of Newburgh, New York. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services for Patricia were Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10:00 A.M., at the Grace Baptist Church, Cleveland, Oklahoma, with Pastor Richard Perkins officiating. Taped music was "Amazing Grace", "Peace in the Valley", and "Follow Me". Casket bearers were Clifford Hays, Ronnie Underwood, Auther Potts, Danny Horton, Tracy Warnke, Sean Sullivan and honorary casket bearers Dean Eddings and Pat Prater Jr. Interment will be at the A.J.
