Phyllis Kay Walker Obituary Phyllis Kay Walker, age 63, of Saginaw, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Saginaw, Texas. Phyllis was born March 25, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jack and Josie Bell (Andrews) Walker. Phyllis grew up and attended school in Hominy where she graduated from Hominy High School in 1967. Soon after graduation she enrolled in college at Oklahoma State University. On March 30, 1968 Phyllis was united in marriage to John Cross in Hominy, Oklahoma. They made their home in Hominy where she was a homemaker and employee at the Hominy News Progress. On March 18, 1982 she was united in marriage to Mark Haught in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her younger days she was an avid bowler and heavily involved in her children's activities. More recently she enjoyed all kinds of sports including Chicago Cubs baseball and NASCAR along with family gatherings. She is survived by her two sons, Kelly Cross (Kelle) of Rose Hill, Kansas and Shane Cross (Danae) of Keller, Texas; and a daughter, Lauren Haught Luckert (Micheal) of Hurst, Texas; a brother, Verlin Behne (Audrie) and granddaughters, Lindsay Norman and Katie Cross of Keller, Texas and Hannah Cross of Rose Hill, Kansas, as well as friends Robert Shields, Mary Kay Murnan and beloved pet Sosa. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy Tucker and both of husbands. A celebration of life will be held at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery Pavilion, Hominy, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00p.m with Rev. Bud Tibbles officiating.
